Brangs + Heinrich
The independent family company of Brangs + Heinrich
was founded in Solingen on February 1, 1875 by Robert Brangs and Friedrich Heinrich.
Over a period of more than 130 years the Company has developed into one of the
leading packaging suppliers in Europe with branches in Hamburg, Langenhagen,
Berlin, Dresden, Stuttgart and companies in Bruxelles/Belgium, Utrecht/Netherlands
and Olomouc/Czech Republic. In April 2007, a branch was opened in Wiesbaden.
In addition the Bendorfer Papierverarbeitungs GmbH in Meudt/Westerwald, a paper
and film processing company, and a further distribution subsidiary for computer
accessories, Branodata GmbH are joining us. The Group employs a total of 170 people
and the majority holding is still in the hands of Heinrich, the founding family.
In September 2004 disquiet and confusion arose from
the sale of a company with the same name, Brangs + Heinrich GmbH in
Leinfelden-Echterdingen, a previous branch of the founding company which
had however been operating fully independently commercially since the mid 1970s.
The legal separate entity in Leinfelden-Echterdingen was sold by the Buscher family
to the Antalis Concern in Paris and continues to operate under the same company name,
Brangs + Heinrich GmbH, Industrial Packaging.
As a leading wholesale company for industrial packaging,
Brangs + Heinrich GmbH in Solingen offers its customers
individual and tailor made packaging solutions from a single source.
Its 13 locations in Europe, its own paper processing plants, packaging
development and the comprehensive logistics and stockholding operation
encompass a range of packaging products which are supplied to nearly all industrial sectors.
